Losing Mental Health Services

“Extra investment in mental health services will see funding grow broadly in line with the total health budget butthis will mean simply maintaining the status quo which sees just 4 in 10 people who need it receive mental health support”

I don’t know how you are all coping but, I am struggling. It seems so hard to get help and support ewhen things get tough and all so often crisies that could easily be averted are not because bvasic support is simply not available. I have buried 2 friends in the last twelve months.

There has been alot of talk on TV and radio about mental health, yet services continue to create greater and greater cuts. Suicide rates soar yet we ignore cries for help.

Mental health has always been the cindarella of health but it gets worse as our pain becomes more and more hidden.

Carers health suffers and abuse between sufferers and carers on both sides becomes more problematic. Neitherfeel there is anywhere to turn while those holding the purse strings continue to treat us as third classcitizens.
